Concrete Strategies was hired to perform all of the tilt-up concrete for SKF’s new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in the premier NorthPark business park. The 310,986-square-foot facility brought a $34.2 million investment to the community. Clayco ensures LEED-certification of the building, as SKF is regularly listed as one of the world’s most sustainable companies.
The facility contains offices, distribution, manufacturing and assembly operations for SKF’s Lubrication business unit. Lamar Johnson Collaborative’s designers created a world class design solution in collaboration with SKF’s local and international team. Sustainable design and employee wellness are paramount to SKF, the design creates an enhanced environment for employees and reduces the environmental impact of the facility and their process. This facility is targeting LEED Gold.
