Over 900,000 man hours were invested in delivering this facility to allow XALT Energy to bring to market the most reliable and consistent energy solutions for its customers.

This world-class manufacturing plant includes Thermomass insulated concrete tilt-up panels, over 60,000 lineal feet of process piping, 200,000 square feet of clean/dry rooms, and an automated storage and retrieval (ASRS) system to support the manufacturing process. Over 900,000 man hours were invested in delivering this facility to allow XALT Energy to bring to market the most reliable and consistent energy solutions for its customers.

Concrete Strategies performed the tilt-up walls for this 400,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art battery manufacturing facility. Over 170,000 square feet of insulated tile-up walls were used on this project, with panels that were insulated with 2-feet thick thermomass installation systems. The tilt-panels weighed around 170,000 pounds and required a 300 ton crawler crane to erect. The single-story manufacturing plant includes 45-foot clear heights and clean-dry rooms to facilitate this unique process.

The XALT Energy battery plant project was developed in two overlapping construction phases. Phase I of construction features more than 400,000-square-feet of space and provides industrial manufacturing operations for advanced batteries for high-performance, high-end vehicles. Phase II added 600 million additional watt-hours and incorporated battery pack assembly equipment and production.
